Description
100 ml
DMSO, (CH3)2SO, is dimethyl sulfoxide, a natural organo-sulfur compound derived from wood pulp. It is generated during the normal decomposition of plants and therefore is in low concentrations present in many foods. It is an antioxidant, and in its taking up of oxygen, is converted to MSM. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is thus the crystallised form of liquid DMSO.
DMSO passes through cell membranes very quickly and also increases the transport of other medication into cells (e.g. Ozonides), therefore a reduction of pain and inflammation is achieved very quickly.
DMSO has been used topically to:
- Accelerates the absorption of other medication into cells.
- For immediate pain relief when rubbed onto affected areas, muscles or joints.
- Treat painful conditions such as headaches, inflammation, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
- Helpful for tooth abscesses
- Helps to heal burns and skin damages (cuts), thus speeding the healing of wounds
- Unblocks nerves and relaxes muscles and good for skeletal injuries
- Anti-microbial -effective against bacteria, fungi, mycoplasmas and viruses
- Improves the immune system and reduces allergies
- Has good antioxidant properties
- It improves blood circulation by inhibiting formation of blood clots and hyper coagulation
- Keep breast tissue healthy and free of fibrous tissue
100 ml 99.9% pure undiluted pharmaceutical grade DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide)
Use as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
Apply 5 to 7 drops topically and rub into the area of pain. Note that it must always be applied to a clean skin that is allowed to dry before covering with clothing or wrappings.
DMSO also assists topical products to penetrate the skin more efficiently.
DMSO could be mixed with a natural oil, such as jojoba oil, Vitamin E oil, or coconult oil to protect the skin when applying the DMSO.
DMSO is in a liquid form, which might crystallise when it is cold. Warm up by placing the bottle in warm water to dissolve the crystals. Don't place it in the microwave!
