Macadamia nut milk

dairy-free; gluten-free & yeast-free

serves 2

1 cup (250 ml) almond milk or prepared milk alternative
1⁄3 cup (80 ml) raw macadamia nuts, soaked in purified water overnight
4 to 6 pitted dates
1 tsp (5 ml) pure vanilla extract
1 tsp (5 ml) raw honey (optional)
1 tsp (5 ml) apricot kernel oil or flaxseed oil
¼ tsp (1 ml) ground or freshly grated nutmeg
1 banana, peeled and chopped

Place all the ingredients in a power blender or liquidiser and liquidise until smooth and creamy.

Nutty seed milk: Use 2 cups purified water, ½ cup nuts like almonds, macadamia, hazelnuts and cashews, 1 tsp lecithin granules, 1 tsp raw honey, 3 pitted dates, 2 tbsp carob powder (optional), ½ tsp cinnamon or nutmeg, ½ tsp pure vanilla extract, 1 banana or any fruit (optional).
